After years working in both corporations and startups across Europe and countless conversations with company leaders, I began to see a pattern. Most organisations don't suffer from a lack of vision at the top, they suffer from a lack of leadership deeper down. The layers beneath senior management are often full of talented people who've been trained to conform and execute, not to think and lead.
